Devine Instructors
All Devine Instructors have an award-winning record as a performer, choreographer, or teacher as well as an advanced education – that often includes a related bachelor’s degree, professional training, or both!

Antonia Mihalovich
Ms. Antonia danced for 8 years in Des Moines when she was younger and finished her last 5 years at Devine. She graduated from Lincoln High School in the top 15% of her class and was captain and main choreographer of the Railettes Dance Team. She received two choreography awards her senior year and her contemporary number placed top 5 at State of Iowa Dance Competition 2015. She also received numerous showmanship awards at competitions while competing as a soloist and won many 1st overalls and top 10 awards while competing with the Devine team. She graduated in 2019 with her B.S. degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and plans to earn her master’s shortly after graduation. Antonia has been teaching at Devine for 3 years now and working with the team for one year as a choreographer and teacher with many of her pieces receiving high adjudications at the Regional level. Antonia couldn’t imagine her life without the dancers and the experience she has gotten from teaching. Antonia always loved being on stage but she loves teaching her dancers more than anything. She can’t wait to see what this year brings and is excited to continue her love and passion of dance as a teacher at Devine.

Laney Hoag
Ms. Laney Hoag is a head preschool teacher at a local preschool. She was a member of the Georgia southern dance team and competed nationally with them. She has had 16 years of dance experience and has studied ballet professionally in three different states. She’s received numerous top ten placements competing regionally and nationally across the United States. She is so excited to join this amazing team and share her passion for dance to everyone.

Dr. Brianna Mooers
Ms. Bri recently graduated with a doctorate in Physical Therapy from DMU. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology with a dance minor through Iowa State University in 2016 and uses both of her degrees to train our dancers at the highest level. She’s been a team choreographer for Devine for the past eight years with many pieces placing in the top 10. She has trained at The Edge in L.A. with SYTYCD choreographers, Movements Lifestyle in L.A and Titans of Dance! Bri has been dancing for nearly 20 years and loves the art more than anybody I know. It is not uncommon to find her in the studio dancing when all the lights are turned out and everyone else has gone home. I am so happy to have her here at Devine because she shares that love of dance with each of her students and shows why hard work pays off. She hopes to leave each dancer she trains with the mindset of “Fall down 7, stand up 8.”

Dr. Charlotte Baptie
Ms. Charlotte grew up dancing and competing around the country in all forms of dance and went on to receive a B.S. in Dance from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2017, the first program in the country to offer a dance major. Additionally she is an alumni from Broadway Dance Center’s professional program in New York. Since graduating Charlotte has worked as a choreographer and teacher at a local dance studio in Milwaukee and loves teaching tap, ballet, contemporary, jazz and musical theater. Additionally she has had the opportunity to dance for music videos in Chicago and Boston, as well as be the lead choreographer. This past year dance has brought her the privilege of working on sets for both movies as well as TV shows such as Impractical Jokers, Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med. Additionally she has been on faculty for numerous dance competitions as both a judge and convention teacher. Charlotte’s passion for dance drives her to new opportunities and she looks forward to continuing to share her love of dance with others.
