Below you will find dance class descriptions for kids, teens, and adults. Click on a title to see the dance classes for that age group.(Mommy and Me) - approx. ages 6mos - 3yrs
Mommy and Me Music – Move and make music with your child! Music is one of the best ways to communicate with your child and improve early brain development. Create a strong bond and learn songs and dances that can be taken home with activities that revolve around sensory experiences, animals, friendship, and more.
(Pre-K) Preschool-Kindergarten - approx. ages 2-4
Pre-K Music – Music is more than just fun, it helps brain cells make the connections needed for virtually every kind of intelligence! Let your child discover the love of music or continue in his/her journey while learning. Students will be led in musical and dance activities that revolve around sensory experiences, animals, friendship, and more.
Storybook Dance (Summer Only) – Combines stories, nursery rhymes, themes, music, and many other exciting props to teach dance in a creative atmosphere. In this class we strive to broaden the imagination and creativity in children. Also, we strengthen basic motor and social skills. Meanwhile, learning important dance fundamentals and having a great time!
Tumble Tots – This is the beginning of gymnastics where we teach children basic stretches and exercises to build a strong foundation for Tumbling. They will also learn a few tricks to practice their technique.
Tap and Ballet (Combination) – A two-genre dance class where the fundamentals of tap and ballet are taught. In this beginning combination class your child will learn rhythm, musicality, and basic tap steps, as well as rudiments of ballet where discipline, flexibility, and fundamental ballet steps are learned. In short, this is where their dance adventure begins!
(K-2) Kindergarten to 2nd - approx. ages 5-8
Storybook Dance(Summer Only) – Combines stories, nursery rhymes, themes, music, and many other exciting props to teach dance in a creative atmosphere. Meanwhile, learning important dance fundamentals and having a great time!
Tumble Tots – Begin building on the foundations of tumbling and learning acrobatic movements. Your child will learn many tricks and the technique for future gymnastic movements.
Tap and Ballet (Combination) – Keep progressing within tap and ballet by learning more difficult movements and strengthening technique to become a well-rounded dancer. Emphasis in Adagio with basic tap & ballet terminology.
Hip-Hop – An introduction into Hip-Hop building flexibility, rhythm, strength, and artistic expression. Your child will gain improved ability to follow rhythmic musicality in a fun and exciting environment.
Baton – An introduction into baton twirling. You child will learn basic finger and hand techniques and gain superior coordination.
(3rd-5th) 3rd to 5th Grade - approx. ages 9-11
Tumbling – Here we build on beginning foundations and begin work on more difficult acrobatic tricks and proper technique.
Tap, Ballet, & Jazz (Combination) – Working on a beginning and intermediate level of all 3 genres. Jazz is started in 3rd grade!
Hip-Hop – A deeper and broader look into the various styles associated with Hip-Hop (Pop and Lock, Funk, Krump, etc.)
Trix – A specialty class that focuses on many different jumps, kicks, leaps, and turns of dance. These tricks help develop a more sophisticated dancer through the emphasis on advanced tricks!
Pointe (Starting in 5th Grade) – Here we continue ballet training by learning more advance movements on toe.
Baton – A further exploration of baton twirling.

(Juniors) 6th to 8th Grade approx. ages 12-14
Cheer/Pom – A heavy progression of tricks, stunts, chants, and cheerleading dance routines to prepare for high school team try-outs.
Tumbling – A mastering of difficult acrobatic movements and techniques.
Tap, Ballet, & Jazz- (Combination) Intermediate tap, ballet, & jazz technique, movements, and theory.
Hip-Hop – Here we dive deeper into the vivacious style of hip-hop combining street dance, disciplined tricks, and animated movement, ultimately enhancing attitude and confidence.
Trix – A continued progression of specialty jumps, kicks, leaps, and turns through combinations to fuse a well-rounded dancer.
Pointe – In this class, we concentrate on technique to enhance our footwork, strength, and flexibility.
Contemporary – Exploring modern movement, choreography, and theories of dance.
Baton- This class is dedicated to mastering difficult tricks. Begin to look into different props to twirl with (e.g., hoops, flags, knives, etc.).
(Seniors) 9th to 12th Grade - approx. ages 15-18
Cheer/Pom – A focus on difficult stunts, jumps, tricks, and cheering dance combinations.
Tumbling – At this level we are working on a variety of flips and tumbling passes.
Tap, Ballet, & Jazz (Combination) – An advance look into all 3-genres working toward more sophisticated and difficult movements for all the styles.
Hip-Hop – In class we work fusing difficult and cutting edge Hip-Hop movements together to create stronger performers and sharper movers.
Trix – In this class we focus on very advanced jumps, leaps, kicks, and turns.
Pointe – This class is dedicated to advance movements (e.g., Adagio, Petite Allegro, etc.), focusing on precision and refined technique.
Contemporary – A continued course in modern dance. Here lyrical is pushed to form an artistic perspective in our dancers and deeper expression in their movement.
Pi-Yo Dance Fusion – Basic dance conditioning and toning class. Combines, Ballet, Yoga, Aerobics, and Pilates to cross-train for dance.
Baton – Intermediate and Advance level of baton twirling. Private lessons are offered by request!
Choreography – Choreography techniques, theory, and practices! Here we explore different choreography styles and methods. Typically for senior solos or Recital routines. (Junior & Seniors Only)
Just Gents – Boys Only!
Tumbling – In class we work on gymnastic movements, strengthening muscles, and flexibility!
Tap & Jazz (Combination) – Here we develop musicality, rhythm, flexibility, discipline, and muscle memory!
Hip-Hop – In class we explore the fun styles of hip-hop dance.
Partnering– In class we work with a variety of styles in lifting a partner. Please submit request to Kelli if interested.
Any genre of dance will be taught in the adult level if we have enough participants. Please submit requests to Kelli if interested.
Tap – Review basic steps and move through the progression list of steps to the advanced level; and work on fun tap combinations!
Hip-Hop – A focus on the physical form of Hip-Hop! All different styles will be fused to build combinations for the class.
Lyrical – Here we use a ballet-lyrical and/or jazz-lyrical fusion to learn numerous combinations and new abstract movements.
Pilates-Yoga Dance Fusion (Pi-Yo) – This is a very popular class. This is a conditioning and toning class. Combines, Ballet, Yoga, Aerobics, and Pilates technique for a complete cross-training experience.
Please Note: All Team members are required to take the Combination Classes for their age group and the Trix Class weekly.
